Yes, this is black-hat stuff. But sometimes you run into super-locked-down machines (e.g. at Kinko's, or at the library), and wonder if it's possible to unlock them.
The key is that you have to be able to boot into your own USB or CD boot media. Of course, this is one of the keys of physical security, so it's unlikely, but just in case...
- change the admin password
- bypass the admin password
- use DreamPackPL to replace sfcfiles.dll, which allows you to
- edit registry hives offline (particularly used to edit the gpedit.msc settings for different users)
