In March 2006 (v0.10.15)?, Lua was released with Wireshark as a plugin
(in June 2006, the Wireshark project was created in order to eclipse Ethereal)
In Sep 2006, Lua was changed from being a separate plugin to being a permanent part of Wireshark.

TCP data may be unavailable to Lua dissectors. However, there's a change that was added to Wireshark (see this bug) after v0.99.7, so if there isn't a newer version than that available yet, then you have to use a dev build to get the change.
