To create a "forward operating base" (a bed that allows you to set your spawn point near something that you're farming) you will need:
- a bed (5 silk, from 35 cobwebs)
- a torch
- enough wood to create a workbench and door
- (optional) a chest or a piggy bank
Once there, you can create:
- a workbench
- a door
- dirt/stone/etc walls
