XBox 360
- order a USB keyboard, and a USB KVM, to allow me to switch between the desktop/360/laptop more easily
- (maybe) order a controller/mouse converter for driving and shooting
games, once an XBox 360 version comes out
Remote control
HTPC
buy and install XBox 360 controller for PC
- get the 360 controller working generally
- get the following apps working:
- HOME APP
- volume
- MAME
- WinDVD
- iTunes
- Winamp
- porn (Firefox)
OTA DTV
buy at least one Silver Sensor
- buy a RG6 crimper and some RG6 cable, and install the Silver Sensor
- possibly buy a 5' yagi, and mount it over my bed? (Home Depot, $40)
Audio
- get 1) a big mixer that always plays everything, 2) allows individual inputs to be unmuted by
remote control, and 3) has a master volume, as well as individual volumes,
- get some kind of 5.1 surround-sound working at some point
- figure out what's wrong with my current amp?
- get things hooked up to my existing piano?
what do I do for volume control then? (since my TV sucks balls)
- buy decent speakers?
Satellite
- get white straps for the pole-cable
- purchase a "flat" RG6 cable, in case that will let me lock my window, so that people can't open
the window from the outside
- cancel Comcast cable
