The recipe I used was basically just: 0) 1.5 lbs cherries, 2) ~0.25 cup sugar, and 3) some tapioca starch, maybe 1.5 tbsp.
My notes:
I used the ground beef masher tool to accelerate the breakdown of the cherries, because it seemed like they weren't going to get there fast enough on their own. I'm pretty sure this helped.
