Rep. Elise Stefanik is a Republican who gained a lot of news by questioning several presidents of prominent universities over their responses to antisemitism on campus, in late 2023. This led to the president of U Penn resigning due to the controversy surrounding her prevaricating answers.
Stefanik also has previously endorsed the Great Replacement theory [2] that suggests there's an effort to diminish white people's power in the US.
These two things are often seen as a contradiction, since Great Replacement conspiracy theories are frequently associated with antisemitism [2].
