Saturday, August 18, they're calling for 4 days straight of rain. :(

need fenders + some sort of expensive rain jacket + rain pants or cycling tights + helmet rain cover + you have to re-oil your chain more frequently. Sounds annoying / expensive. :(
several pages suggest that the cheap way to go, when it's WARM outside, is: 1) fenders, 2) a bicycling poncho (that covers the helmet), and 3) plain ol' shorts (it's warm outside, and who cares if your legs get wet).
