- the harmony 880 doesn't do macros really easily like some other remotes do (though it DOES do them if you work enough)
- the MX-700 does macros easily, but acquiring it can be a bit of a PITA... you have to buy it from a few select places to be able to get the setup software
- the MX Editor manual gives a good idea of what the remote and software can do
- you CAN get the August 1, 2006 version of the software when buying from someone else [], but there are newer versions available, and those versions are only available from an authorized reseller
- authorized resellers supposedly include surfremote.com, bluedo.com, or proremotes.com
- Ricavision SideShow, a snazzy MCE remote that will be unveiled on Jan 8, 2007
