Octopress 3
- Build is slow. [1] [2] However, Jekyll 3's incremental build should make things a lot faster. [3]
- Octopress 3 still supports multi-directory sites. [rendered] [src]
Docpad supports a directory hierarchy. Plus it's based on Javascript, which I already know.
- It does have the YAML-front-matter, just like Jekyll
- Oooh, Ctrl-F for "featured" here. Collections are nice.
- And this .htaccess example is nice too
- (offtopic) a very interesting way to edit github-hosted pages with Prose, and then use the post-receive hook to have your static generator run whenever you update
- con: Docpad can be pretty slow [2]
