Logging (via end-user apps)

• perfmon includes options to watch it, but only on a #messages basis
• c:\windows\system32\msmq\QMLog is a circular buffer of the most recent historical data. (but no, you can't read it)
• there is a debug version of the MSMQ.dll
• MSMQAdm can turn on and off debug logging (where the hell do you get it though??)
• this doesn't work
• LOTS of utils :)
• turn on EnableReportMessages
• Chapter 15 of the MSMQ long FAQ is devoted to logging
  • the "active directory" editor it's talking about is adsiedit.msc
