Commands to list a drive's size, ignoring partitions:

cat /proc/ide/ide0/hda/geometry

Commands to list a drive's partition sizes:

fdisk -l /dev/sda
parted /dev/sda print
cfdisk
awk 'NR>2 {print "/dev/" $4 }' /proc/partitions | xargs blockdev --report
