- 42" high (total height, all the way down to the floor, so we'll probably want to leave 1½" clearance at the bottom. So: 40½" high)
- 47" wide (again, total width, so we'll probably want to leave 1½" clearance on the left and right. So: 44" wide)
my steel order
- 1" square tube, 48" long (qty 4)
- 1" square tube, 68" long
¼" round bar, 48" long (qty 24)
- max 1⅝" gap between bars
- so the width-per-bar is 1⅝" + ¼" = 1⅞"
- 44" / 1⅞" = 23.5
- (minus one, since the last one has an extra gap)
- qty 23 = $44!!
steel flat bar, ⅛" x 1¼", 48" long
- max 1⅝" gap between bars
- so the width-per-bar is 1⅝" + 1¼" = 2⅞"
- 44" / 2⅞" = 15.3
- (minus one equals 15)
- qty 15 = $58!!!
