The MIG torch at PS:One gets gummed up sometimes. Tips for cleaning/maintaining MIG torches:

- gas nozzle — the nozzle is the outermost piece, it directs the shielding gas
- tip — The piece that sits inside the nozzle. It's short, <1". It makes contact with the wire, and ensures electricity can conduct to the wire.
- diffuser — What the tip screws into. It has several functions, including spreading the shielding gas.
- liner — this protects and helps the wire move down the length of the cable
