I love BMXs or fully-rigid MTBs with FAT slicks. The tires act somewhat like suspension, but ALSO allow you to do things suspension never let you do — go straight up stairs without worrying about pinch flats. (as well as more "minor" things like going up and down curbs, no matter how high they are)
They turn normal bikes into urban assault vehicles.
