- The two points that produce saddle soreness are called ischial tuberosities. It's important to position these on the rear part of the seat, and NOT scoot forward until they're off the seat, since that puts the entire weight on centerline softer tissue that's not designed to bear a lot of weight. (though it does take a little bit of time to "toughen up" the tissues under these two points)
