[2011-09-23] (verbal) Two issues brought up:
                                - taking shoes off, even while sitting at my desk
                                - walking in to work with my top two buttons unbottoned, in a feminine fashion
(I buttoned up once at my desk, but even just while arriving was too much)

======== Explanation of this document ========

I post this log semi-publicly because I have two difficulties that friends often give me advice
about:

    - I really do have instances where I'm not being professional enough.

    - Pretty much ALL of my trans friends are gender-policed heavily by their boss, with the focus
on what they wear to work, or how they wear it. It's generally understood that this is a
proxy for transphobia. It IS covert transphobia.

The two issues are difficult to untangle.

(I'm *not* suggesting the gender-policing has a simple solution at all... far from it. The
employee SHOULD go overboard to accomodate the boss's requests whenever possible. However, there
ARE things that are not negotiable, and the employer is legally required to make "reasonable
accommodations".
