• CA (cyanoacrylate) glue
  • Very short cure time, and is even faster with an optional activator.
  • Available in a variety of viscosities.
  • If you're worried about its applicability with wood, Titebond makes their own version of CA glue.
• DAP Rapid Fuse, derived from CA glue but is a unique formulation
  • There are a variety of RapidFuse variants, with a wood-specific glue available.
  • It's in between CA glue and PVA glue in terms of set time / working time (CA glue w/o activator 30 seconds, RapidFuse 3 minutes, PVA glue 30 minutes) and cure time (CA glue ~12 hours, RapidFuse 30 minutes, PVA glue 24 hours).
    • TODO — Does RapidFuse's claimed cure time of 30 minutes pass the smell test? Even the fastest-curing epoxy take four hours before they can carry high loads.
  • Rapid Fuse is reportedly as strong as PVA glue, and stronger than CA for wood purposes.
  • CA glue should be avoided for outdoor projects, but Rapid Fuse works fine in those situations
